The Beastie Boys were the first musical group I knew by name. Unlike many other artists and bands that I listened to when I was younger, I still listen to them, and always have. I knew Adam Yauch had been struggling with cancer for some time, but his passing was still unexpected for me. Rest in peace, MCA. At least you left us with one last, truly fantastic hip hop album.
